Once again 1st Home & Commercial has come to my rescue. We are opening a 2nd location of our business and had 1st Home come out to install the Micro Pure A/C just like in our first business location. While installing it, they found that rodents had chewed through a lot of the electrical wiring in the attic. That same day they brought out their electrical team to get me an estimate for that repair and were able to start on that the next day while the HVAC team continued working on the A/C project. I can't express enough how great it is using such an efficient and knowledgeable company. The plumbing, a/c, and electrical teams all work together to get the job done and I love how efficient it is to use one company for all 3 of these different services. Special thanks to Caleb, Tyler, and Brandon for getting this huge job done, and now we are one step closer to getting this 2nd location open.

My AC unit was going downhill and I decided to start shopping for a new one. I had 13, yes 13, different AC/Heating companies come out and give me quotes for a complete AC/Heat system. The very last bid was 1st Home and Commercial and I almost didn't call because I was tired of it by that point but I am so glad I did. Tim Greene was the only one that was completely honest with me about the damper system I have that was not functioning properly. His bid for the top of the line American Standard unit came in slightly cheaper than any of the others for the same unit and he also saved me money on the damper system by telling me the entire thing did not need to be replaced as several of the others had said. Some said just to leave it broken. Well, this house was designed to have the damper system for efficiency so it didn't make sense to me to leave it broken. I scheduled the install and they not only showed up on time, they were friendly, polite and very informative about what they were doing. Tyler was my main installer and he was fantastic. He had injured his hand earlier in the week but still showed up to install my new system with no complaints. All of the poeple who I have interacted with and the folks in the office have been great. They went above and beyond with communications, calls, texts about arrival times, the removal of the old unit, and installation of the new one. They made sure to clean up after themselves and even cleaned up stuff other repairmen had left behind. They walked me through every step telling me what they were working on, the steps they were taking, about how long each step would take and they only took a short lunch break. They showed me how to use the new wifi thermostats, set them up and made sure I knew how to operate everything before they left. The house is nice and cool, the new unit is quieter and much more efficient than the old one. I can't thank them enough and have already recommended them to others.

"These guys do everything, and everything well."

These guys do everything, and everything well. This time I had them out to clean my ducts and put in the Micro Pure thingamajig. More on that later. I moved into a very un-cared for lovely house. Everything was dirty and it felt like even the air was dirty. We cleaned and cleaned but it just felt off. I was talking to Tim with 1st Home after an air conditioning visit and he suggested a duct cleaning. I've always thought it couldn't help, but needed some help. I will not mention the things they took out of my ducts. Needless to say, if they show you pictures of bad problems in ducts, it's from my house. Once cleaned, we went in and put the Micro Pure system in. One word. Awesome! it cleans the air and just makes things better. Go ahead and do it.

Awesome service! Chris got there right on time and got directly to work. We chatted while he worked and I learned a ton of interesting facts about what goes down my drain. (Did you know that if toothpaste and mouthwash combine in your sink, they will congeal in your pipes and lead to slow draining!) Chris even fixed things that had been broken for years, not because he had to but because he wanted to leave everything better than he found it - and after a quick wipe down, form signing, and a handshake, he did just that. Thank you, Chris, for your exceptional service!

I cannot thank the entire team at 1st Home and Commercial Services enough. My A/C died in Austin, TX while I was traveling for work. They were able to send a technician to my home within 24 hours. Wyatt called me right after diagnosing that my A/C was not working and walked me through all of my options for a new unit. We then called the office to get more information and Missy transferred us to Tim, who proceeded to explain every seer that was available for my home size and how each would work for my home. He also explained to us that his office would fill out all of the paperwork for the rebate with Austin energy, and the warranty through the company is nothing short of amazing!! They were able to schedule Tyler and his crew to come install my new A/C the very next day. This whole experience was nothing short of amazing, especially as I was out of town for work. This is my second time using this company and all I can say is they are nothing short of amazing!! Thank you to the entire team!!

Allow me to set the scene: we live in a home built in the 70's my roommate almost drowned due to water flooding into her room, our management company arranged for 1st home to come out. Randy, Casey, and Greg located the source of the leak and patched our home right up, they even located an attic we weren't aware of! All three guys were incredibly friendly and personable, we have a small dog with chronic anxiety and they all took the time to make him feel comfortable, even the cat liked them and she's pretty judgy!

While trying to remove a stump in my yard I accidentally hit a water pipe. In a panic I assumed I hit my main water line so naturally shut off the main water valve and proceeded to call any 24hr plumbing service that would take my call. I called these guys after some horrible service with Roto Rooter and was immediately put in contact with their master plumber David who calmly walked me through a series of questions and asked me to send him some pics of the pipes. Immediately after sending them he told me I had hit my irrigation piping, explaining everything, and advised that I could turn my main line back on after I shut off the irrigation water flow. Which he helped me with as well. All while he stayed on the phone with me to ensure everything was okay. Not only did he solve my problem on the eve of thanksgiving but also saved me a ton of money. That kind of service is world class and can’t recommend these guys enough for their willingness to help and expertise. Thanks again!! You guys are awesome! Highly recommend!

This company is amazing. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and the customer service was the best I've had in San Antonio, from any business. David Delgado went above and beyond to help me and my family out. I wish there were more stars because I'd rate them a 10, if it went up that high. He fixed my toilet, and also figured out, and fixed,a problem with my air conditioning unit, which was causing a leak in my living room ceiling. Then, to top it all off, he called another company he recommended, to help with the water damage, and make sure everything he couldn't do was taken care of. The other company actually called me, and was at my house in about an hour, to test the areas, help out with the drying process, and anything else dealing with water damage. They were amazing too. 1st Plumbing Services made a stressful experience as smooth as possible, and I will never use another plumbing company again! Thank you!

When the temp is in triple digits and your A/C decides to go out there’s a problem. Easily solved by the quick response and in identifying the problem. I made the call about 9:45 and Tim was here by 1:30, taken care of in less than an hour. That is service at its best.
